In a remarkable year of growth and transformation, Audi delivered approximately 1.9 million cars in 2023, showcasing an outstanding increase of 51 percent in fully electric vehicle deliveries compared to the previous year. Unprecedented Growth in Electric Vehicle Deliveries

Audi’s commitment to electrification is vividly reflected in the substantial increase of over 51 percent in fully electric vehicle deliveries, surpassing 178,000 units in 2023. The remarkable growth is underscored by the soaring popularity of the Audi Q4 e-tron, which experienced an impressive surge of 112 percent in demand. This solidifies Audi’s position as a frontrunner in the electrification race and sets the tone for an even more ambitious push in 2024.

Global Success: Europe, USA, and China Lead the Way

Audi’s impressive sales performance extended globally, with significant achievements in key regions. In Europe, Audi delivered around 748,000 vehicles, marking a commendable 20 percent increase despite challenging market conditions. The fully electric models spearheaded this growth, with the Audi Q4 e-tron leading the charge with an astonishing 68 percent surge in deliveries.

In the USA, Audi experienced its best sales year to date in 2023, achieving around 229,000 deliveries with a remarkable 22 percent increase. The demand for fully electric models, surging by 55 percent to 25,000 units, underscores the brand’s strategic focus on the American market as a future and growth hub.

China, another critical market for Audi, witnessed an impressive surge of over 13 percent, with more than 729,000 cars delivered to customers in China and Hong Kong. This growth further cements Audi’s strong position in the dynamic Chinese automotive landscape.

Strengthening Domestic And International Sales

Audi showcased its prowess in its home market, Germany, with deliveries surging by over 17 percent to more than 252,000 vehicles. The fully electric models witnessed a commendable 13 percent increase, totaling around 32,000 units, reflecting the brand’s commitment to leading the electrification drive on home turf.

Beyond the core markets, Audi experienced substantial growth in all other regions worldwide, delivering around 190,000 vehicles, marking a 19 percent increase. Notable contributors to this global expansion include Argentina (109 percent), India (90 percent), Mexico (32 percent), and Australia (29 percent), demonstrating Audi’s widespread appeal and success on a global scale.
