Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has officially launched its Chinese New Year campaign, with a suite of deals across its entire line-up of models. This special promotion is sure to put smiles across the faces of anyone who was hoping to drive home a new car this festive season.

Running till 29 February2024, the campaign offers up to RM18,888 of savings on Volkswagen models, which includes the Golf GTI, Tiguan Allspace range and the Arteon R-Line. So hurry up and don’t miss this golden opportunity while it lasts. Full details of the savings are as listed below:

Tiguan Allspace Life (IQ.Drive)RM 2,888RM 174,102
Tiguan Allspace Elegance (IQ.Drive)RM 8,888RM 197,102
Tiguan Allspace R-Line (IQ.Drive)RM 8,888RM 250,102
Arteon R-Line (IQ.Drive)RM 18,888RM 281,102
Golf GTI (IQ.Drive)RM 3,888RM 249,102

In addition, all Volkswagen models also now come with 5 years free maintenance, 5 years unlimited mileage warranty and 5 years roadside assistance. Bookings and test drive arrangements can be made at all of the brand’s authorised dealerships nationwide.

Clearly the biggest savings are offered for the Volkswagen Arteon R-Line sedan and it is not really a surprise. Sedans have fallen out of favour with the public for a while now, so the successor to the Passat has much to do to prove itself lest it get axed from the lineup so perhaps this might sway some to purchase this sedan.

It is also worth noting that the least savings are offered for the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Life SUV and once again, no surprises here as SUVs have suddenly become the default for the past decade or so and even ended up causing pickup trucks to become popular lifestyle vehicles as a result.
