Yamaha is also introducing new colours for the YZF-R15M model
We all know that colours can make any vehicle more personalised and show off the personal style of the owner of the vehicle. While cars do have much more surface area to show off with, when it comes to motorcycles, there is far less space, so livery tends to be more of a “go-to.”
So, now Yamaha is introducing livery in the new Monster Energy color for the YZF-R15M model, while the Signature M color will continue to be available as well. This is an easy and affordable way to show off the more “demon mode” style that many younger motorcyclists tend to prefer when it comes to livery.
Moreover, the New Yamaha YZF-R15M Monster Energy Edition will only be produced in a limited number of 600 units and will be available at all authorized Yamaha dealers nationwide starting from 13 October 2023, with a recommended retail price of RM14,998, excluding registration fees and insurance coverage.
What’s more, new owners of the Yamaha YZF-R15M can receive a safety disc lock worth RM100 with their purchase as an added sweetener to an already pretty sweet deal, in my opinion. The added bonus of the Monster Energy livery only makes this already great deal, even more worth it.
On top of that, the Yamaha YZF-R15M is powered by a 155cc, liquid cooled Single Overhead Cam fuel injection engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) that makes a maximum power of 14.2kW and 14.7Nm of torque. It also comes with the Yamaha Y-Connect feature and carbon-like seat cover materials.
The Yamaha YZF-R15M Monster Energy edition features a quickshifter paired to a 6-speed slipper clutch gearbox and it weighs in at around 140kg and it also gets single hydraulic brake disc brakes in the front and rear as well as two-channel ABS as standard, making it rather well equipped even for its low price.
So what do you guys think about the Yamaha YZF-R15M Monster Energy edition? I personally really like the look of it although I can also see an argument being made for it being a bit too gaudy as well but it personally just works for me.
