Perodua officiates its first “Hybrid” 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre in the heart of Rawang commercial district here today as it strengthen its sales and service network in the Klang Valley. The 3S “Hybrid” centre is a combination of Medan Prisma Sdn Bhd, one of Perodua’s first dealers – which operates the sales showroom, while Perodua operates the service and spare parts operations. All under one roof.
“This hybrid 3S centre is the first of its kind for Perodua as we further strengthen our relationship with our business partner, which has been with us since 1994,” Perodua President and CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said during the official opening.
Aminar said that Perodua and Medan Prisma spent nearly RM1.2 million and RM7 million respectively to build and equip the new outlet.
“We appreciate the commitment shown by our partner as we look to further strengthen our presence in Rawang,” he said.
The Perodua 3S “Hybrid” centre, which began operations in October last year, employs 51 workers whereby 21 are from sales, while the remaining 30 are in service operations. The centre has a land area of 52,523 square feet, 25 service bays and has 38 parking spaces for the convenience of its customers.
During the launch, Aminar said that one of Perodua’s main focus is to ensure customer satisfaction is well taken care to remain competitive and as part of Perodua’s overall transformation agenda. Perodua has 182 sales and 176 service outlets nationwide, of which about 70% are sales and service dealers.
