Chery Malaysia shows all the steps its taking to make sure after sales is fully covered.

Chery Malaysia launched two new products last month with pricing within 5% of Proton’s competing SUVs. That’s as close as any non-national brand has gotten, so it’s clear that Chery mean business. Both the Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro are exceptional value for money, but the company knows that it has to earn the trust of Malaysian consumers. Many Malaysian car buyers have felt the sting of a ‘good deal’ that comes with insufficient after sales support and Chery is keen to avoid falling in that trap.

      • CYLINDER BLOCK, CYLINDER HEAD, CAMSHAFT, CRANKSHAFT, INLET & EXHAUST VALVE, PISTON & RINGS, CONNECTING ROD, OIL COLLECTOR, OIL PAN, EXHAUST MANIFOLD, INLET MANIFOLD, GEAR MECHANISM, TORQUE CONVERTER, CVT CHAIN.
    • 3-year/60,000km manufacturer warranty on engine compartment parts
      • FUEL INJECTOR, ALTERNATOR, FUEL PUMP, STARTER MOTOR, TURBO CHARGER.
    • 3-year/60,000km manufacturer warranty on chassis and undercarriage
      • ABSORBER, LOWER ARM, DRIVESHAFT, HUB BEARING, BRAKE CALIPERS, ABS PUMP, BRAKE MASTER PUMP, BRAKE DISC.
    • 3-year/60,000km manufacturer warranty on electronic components
      • AIR COND COMPRESSOR, EVAPORATOR, MULTIMEDIA CONSOLE, ECU, BCM, TCU, ALARM SYSTEM.
    • 2-year/40,000km manufacturer warranty on special parts
      • EXHAUST SILENCER BOX, THREE WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER (ON MANUFACTURER DEFECT ONLY).
    • 1-year/20,000km manufacturer warranty on limited parts
      • BRAKE PADS/ LINING, BRAKE SHOES, BATTERY.
    • 1-year/30,000km manufacturer warranty on replacement parts purchased
      • NOT INCLUDING WEAR & TEAR ITEM, MAINTENANCE ITEM AND LUBRICANTS.
  2. A 5-year free labour service plan (six alternate services)
  3. Use of fully-synthetic oil and advice on when to replace wear & tear parts to maintain peak performance
  4. Chery Insurance Program with reputable insurance partners (Etiqa, Allianz, and Berjaya Sompo). Benefits include:
    • i. Agreed Value – up to 12 years
      ii. No Betterment – up to 12 years
      iii. All Driver – No excess for additional drivers
