Triumph Motorcycles Warranty Extension For Affected Customers

Triumph Motorcycles extends their product warranties for certain Malaysian customers.

Earlier this year, Triumph Motorcycles distributorship in Malaysia changed hands from Fast Bikes Sdn Bhd to Didi Group. This transition period occurred between January and April 2023 and there were a number of Triumph Motorcycle customers whose warranties would have been affected during that time.

Today, Didi Group announced that it will be carrying out a warranty extension program for customers whose warranties were affected during this transition period. Didi Group has been the brand stewards of Triumph Motorcycles in Malaysia since 15 January 2023.

This warranty extension programme provides an additional 6 months of warranty coverage throughout the remainder of 2023. However, it does not apply automatically. Customers will have to fill out this form and provide some details first. The Triumph Motorcycles team will also be reaching out to affected customers to notify them of the warranty extension.

Triumph Motorcycles currently has three showrooms in Peninsular Malaysia. They are located in Petaling Jaya, Batu Caves and Penang with Goh Brothers Motorcycles serving as official dealers. Three more dealerships are expected to be opened under Didi Group. The company has also launched the Triumph Street Triple 765, Triumph Street Triple RS and Triumph Street 765 Moto2 Edition for the Malaysian market.

Triumph Motorcycles was established in 1983, but this bike brand’s lineage can be traced as far back as 1902. Triumph Motorcycles are currently the largest UK-owned motorcycle manufacturer. The company has manufacturing facilities in Thailand.
