PROTON Holdings Berhad (“PROTON”) has just announced Free Inspection Service for its Proton Exora Bold CFE cars made between October 2011until April 2014 due to a possible leakage in the radiator connector. PROTON Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Abdul Harith Abdullah said, “In response to the feedback from our customers with regard to the Proton Exora Bold CFE radiator connector issue, the Management of PROTON has taken precautionary step to provide Free Inspection to our Proton Exora Bold CFE owners with the make models between October 2011 to April 2014, as part of the exercise to assist our customers.
“The Free Inspection Service especially for the Proton Exora Bold CFE owners is an example of the commitment we place on our customers’ safety and the reliability of our vehicles under PROTON Quality Assurance Programme. On this note, PROTON has not been informed of any crashes, injuries or fatalities associated with this issue.
“We hope our customers understand that this exercise is necessary to ensure their continued confidence in the safety and performance of their vehicles,” he added.
The exercise which is part of PROTON Quality Assurance Programme, will involve approximately 40,000 of Proton Exora Bold CFE owners nationwide.
Owners of the Proton Exora Bold CFE make models from the identified date as above, are urged to contact any authorized PROTON service centres to book an appointment for a free inspection. All labour and parts costs related to the issue will be provided at no charge at our authorized service centres nationwide.
