Audi E-Tron GT And RS E-TRON GT Land In Malaysia Starting From RM587,990

Audi also launched the entire award-winning e-tron range in Malaysia today as well

So German automaker, Audi, in partnership with PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) have officially launched seven fully-electric Audi e-tron models to the Malaysian market including the sleek and ultra stylish Audi e-tron GT and Audi RS e-tron GT, yes, the very same car we saw on the big screen in Avengers Endgame. Let’s take a closer look at these two beauties.

Both the Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT are four door coupes and are purpose-built inside and out with only the best design and performance in mind. This reinforces Audi’s identity as a pioneer for the future and perfectly embodies Audi’s technological progress while redefining the classic idea of what a Gran Turismo car should be.

Moreover, the Audi e-tron GT range consists of the Audi e-tron GT quattro which starts from RM 587,990 to RM 599,990, the e-tron GT quattro with Dynamic Package which will set one back between RM 666,990 and RM 678,990 and of course, the iconic Audi RS e-tron GT which goes for RM 792,990 to RM 807,990.

While some automakers would be content with this kind of a release, this is only the beginning for the brand and Audi will continue to introduce more e-tron models to the Malaysian market as time goes on which means that potential customers and fans of the brand will truly have much to look forward to in the coming years.

Erik Winter, Managing Director of PHSAM, stated, “What’s more, I am pleased to announce that this is only the beginning, as we are already working to bring in more e-tron models here, including the flagship SQ8, and the Q6 e-tron, which will make its global debut later this year.”

On top of that, electric vehicle (EV) adoption in Malaysia is in full swing fueled by government incentives and industry collaborations to achieve the government’s target of having 1.5 million EVs in Malaysia by 2040. Audi believes uptake for electric vehicles will continue as electro-mobility becomes increasingly mainstream in the years to come.

To sweeten the deal, all Audi e-tron models will come with the mobile e-tron Charging System Compact, which consists of an intelligent compact charger and power cables that plug into a standard household power socket with an output of 1.8kW to 2.3 kW, or via a three-phase power supply with an output of 11 kW as well as a complementary RM1,000 JomCharge credits.

Finally, PHSAM has partnered with European energy solutions provider, Moon Power to further support charging solutions for Audi e-tron owners in the country, making Malaysia the first country outside of Europe to receive this technology and with that comes the option of purchasing Moon Power wall box chargers in 11 kW and 22 kW variants, beginning September 2023.
