0Hyundai Palisade Facelift Arrives With Upgrades And Higher Price
The gigantic Hyundai Palisade facelift model arrives in Malaysia with a price and spec bump.
The Hyundai Palisade may not have been a top seller in Malaysia, but after the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong was seen in one, interest in the luxury SUV has been reignited. Now Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors have announced the facelift model is available for booking at all authorised dealership and online.
The new Hyundai Palisade refresh brings upgraded looks, some upgrades but also a price increase due to changes in raw material prices and foreign exchange rates. There are also improvements to the Driver Assist systems and overall equipment levels that justify the price hikes.
Design Changes
The new Palisade features a wider cascading grille and rugged parametric shield element for a more premium appearance, as well as a new forward lighting signature with vertically connected LED composite lights.
The rear view has been updated with vertical LED taillamps and lower fascia skid plate details, and the car is also equipped with 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and strake detailing on the lower front skid plate to enhance its rugged look.
Aerodynamic benefits such as a fast A-pillar angle, rear spoiler side garnish, an optimized front cooling area with an extended internal air guide, aero underside panels, and rear wheel aero deflectors are also integrated into the design of the car.
Interior changes
The Palisade is still available as a 7 or 8 seater. The One-Touch second-row seat makes it easy to move the seat forward for easy access to the third-row seats. The Palisade features 1,297 litres of cargo space when the second and third row seats are folded and 509 litres when all seats are upright.
The infotainment system can be accessed on a 12.3-inch LCD screen with a new graphic user interface, and new slim horizontal air vents add a sense of spaciousness and premium ambience. Wireless charging capability has been upgraded to 15 watts for faster device charging. USB-C ports for faster charging are available for the driver and front passenger, as well as for the second and third row passengers.
