Lexus has always been a pioneer in the world of luxury electrification. This is proven by the fact that the Lexus RX 400h which launched in 2005 was the first hybrid SUV. Lexus also launched the first UX300e in 2020 and it was the brand’s first production BEV then followed up this year with the Lexus RX, a dedicated BEV model
Moreover, Lexus announced their electrification vision “Lexus Electrified” in 2019 and intends to meet the diverse needs of global consumers through their wide variety of electrified vehicles. The brand also continues to refine their craft and bring joy to customers all over the world through meticulous precision and sophistication.
On top of that, the maneuverability, compact size and unique design of the Lexus UX 300e, it is highly sought after by many customers who seek a quiet and refined BEV experience while still having the best practicality possible. The endless pursuit of improvement by Lexus also ensures a comfortable and fun ride at all times too.
Additionally, the new Lexus UX 300e will come equipped with a newly developed battery pack that has an increased capacity of 72.8kWh as compared to the 54.4kWh of the previous model which gives the new UX 300e over 40 percent more cruising range at 450km which should be a huge help to customers in the long run.
The battery pack on the new Lexus UX 300e is placed below the floor of the SUV which helps reduce the centre of gravity of the car and works perfectly in tandem with all the safety features of the “Lexus Safety System +” to ensure all occupants are safe at all times in the car.
With improvements, additions and changes like this, Lexus is well on their way to achieving their carbon neutrality goals as soon as possible and it also ensures their customers can enjoy a greener vehicle without sacrificing any of the fun to drive feel. That goes a long way, especially in the luxury segment.
