If you want an SUV and a sports car in one, then this hybrid is for you
Bentley has always been a brand revered for its ability to seamlessly mix powerful performance and luxurious comfort but this time, the brand is doing something different with the Bentley Bentayga S Hybrid which is a sports oriented beast of an SUV built for those who want an SUV that can keep up with sports cars.
This comes as Bentley is expanding its Bentayga range with two new models including this Bentley Bentayga S Hybrid which takes full advantage of its combined 462Ps of power to ensure that anyone driving it will be able to satisfy all their racetrack cravings while still enjoying a comfortable family SUV.
Powered by a 3.0 litre TFSI petrol V6 paired with a 100kW electric motor, the Bentley Bentayga S Hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds and has a 254km/h (158 mph) top speed. That is seriously impressive for a car as spacious and luxurious as this one.
Moreover, just the V8 powered Bentley Bentayga S, this car also benefits from sound enhancements in the engine bay while in sports mode to play a symphony of engine roar for the driver to enjoy while driving. What’s more, it can even be tuned to a different effect for the front and rear passengers too.
The Bentley Bentayga S Hybrid features unmissable 22 inch wheels along with other Blackline specifications which replace the polished metals except the Bentley Wings Badge to a more sporty black and also adds black split-oval tailpipes to further enhance the sporty look if the car in the back.
On top of that, the interior is classic Bentley but with a few subtle and sporty touches such as the perfectly crafted hide and tactile being finished in Dinamica which is a nod to it’s use in motorsports.
To set itself apart from its more comfort oriented sibling, the Bentley Bentayga S Hybrid also features a different seat pattern featuring fluted seating and adding ‘S’ emblems on the fascia and headrests as well. All these extra touches may not seem like much but they go a long way in giving this car its character.
So what do you think of the The Bentley Bentayga S Hybrid? Would you choose it over the The Bentley Bentayga Azure Hybrid? I probably would not as if I were searching for an SUV, I would probably prioritize comfort.
