Porsche Cayman 2013 Model Arrives in Malaysia

Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the official importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia has just officially launched the new Cayman and Cayman S. First premiered at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2012, the third generation of the Cayman has been completely redeveloped. It is lower and longer, lighter and faster, more efficient and more powerful than ever. A longer wheelbase, wider track, and larger wheels enhance the driving performance of the mid-engine sports car to a level without equal in its competitive class. The new two-seater is the third sports car mod el line from Porsche, after the 911 Carrera and Boxtser, to feature innovative lightweight body design.

“The new third-generation Cayman was developed in accordance with the code of the curve. The result is a mid-engine concept with a low centre of gravity in the centre of the car, producing exceptional agility and cornering dynamics. The new Cayman models also adds on to Porsche’s exciting product line-up for 2013 and we are eager to see more Porsche cars on the road in Malaysia,” said Arnt Bayer, Chief Executive Officer of SDAP.
The base price of the new Cayman starts from RM 500,000 and the Cayman S from RM 610,000, which includes a 4-year factory warranty and a 4-year complimentary service maintenance package. The price stated includes all applicable duties and excludes registration fee, road tax and insurance. Specifications and prices are subject to change without prior notice. Terms and conditions apply.
