New Platinum White Pearl Colour for Honda Civic and BR-V

Honda Malaysia are replacing the White Orchid Pearl colour option with Platinum White Pearl on the Civic and BR-V. Platinum White Pearl is a non-standard colour option which incurs a surcharge of RM272.73 on either vehicle. The new white finish is available on the Civic immediately, but will only come to the BR-V some time in November 2020.

In early 2018, White Orchid Pearl replaced Taffeta White on a number of Honda models, including the pre-facelift BR-V. Back then, White Orchid Pearl carried a similar surcharge of RM300 on the BR-V, but we’re not sure if that price includes GST/SST, as we were not monitoring the surcharge since then.

According to local sales data, 38% of all 10th generation Honda Civics and 25% of all Honda BR-Vs sold so far were ordered in White Orchid Pearl. The new Platinum Pearl White is expected to do equally well in the Malaysian market.
