Red Bull is gearing up for this weekend’s Global Rallycross race in Washington D.C. by releasing a new video featuring Rhys Millen and his high-performance Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Red Bull Racing has, with the help of Rhys Millen and the Hyundai Veloster rally car, made a mess of the US city in a new gymkhana/Ken Block type video.
In the clip, Millen tears through the city and passes several familiar landmarks including Capitol Hill and the Washington Monument. Millen eventually arrives at the RFK stadium where he puts in a fast lap on the gravel and dirt course that will be used in this weekend’s race.
RMR has been relatively tight-lipped about the car’s specifications but Hyundai has previous said the model features a 1.6-liter engine that has been equipped with an optimized ECU, a larger turbocharger and a wastegate control system. The car also has an aerodynamic body kit, an XTRAC center differential and a rally-tuned suspension.
