The prices of petrol and diesel in Malaysia continue to rise following the increase in refined product prices, in line with the rise in global crude oil prices.
For the week of June 6 to 12, the Ministry of Finance announced that the retail price of RON97 petrol will increase by 5 sen from RM1.73 to RM1.78 per liter.
The retail price of RON95 petrol will also see an increase of 5 sen from RM1.43 to RM1.48 per liter.
As for diesel, the retail price will go up by sen 2 from RM1.61 to RM1.63 per liter starting midnight tonight.
The weekly pricing of petroleum products is calculated based on the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula that was introduced in January 2019.
