Only 125 units of this super sedan will be built.
If this car is sold out within weeks, then ABT management should look into producing more units, in right hand drive for a different segment of buyers. We are sure there will be a couple of Malaysians, Indonesians and even Singaporeans wanting this car in their garage despite the economic issues looming.
In 2019, Audi launched a new RS7 which at the time was the most powerful model in the Audi A7 family. The Audi factory delivered 4.0 TFSI in this Audi RS 7 Sportback delivers 600PS and a constant 800Nm of torque across a wide engine speed range from 2,050 to 4,500 rpm. The high performance sports sedan can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.6 seconds. It will continue to 200 km/h in just 12 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
Added 140PS and 120Nm
The heart of this ABT tuned RS7-R package is the performance upgrade for the V8 biturbo engine, which now increases the output of the basic version from 600 PS and 800 Nm to 740 PS and 920 Nm. In order to bring the additional power for the four-liter V8 bi-turbo petrol engine onto the road in the best possible way, ABT offers a suspension that is tailored to the RS7-R, which, among other things, allows new coil-over springs and sport stabilizers to move under the sheet. If you want, you can have the top speed limit raised to 320 km/h. The V8 is allowed to exhale through a four-pipe sports exhaust system.
More carbon added for the look
ABT also works with the looks of the RS7. A front grill attachment and a front lip attachment on the bow ensure a striking appearance. A rear spoiler and a rear apron attachment ensure the visual balance. Ventilation gills are still pulling in behind the front wheel arches. All attachments are of course made of carbon. Red elements set further striking highlights. Wide alloy wheels are needed and so ABT chose in-house performance HR rims in 22-inch format with fat 285/30 tires. The nose gets the RS7-R logo which is shared across the car.
ABT Sportsline
On the inside of the RS7-R ABT has added carbon applications on the dashboard, the steering wheel and the seats. In addition, the other surfaces have leather and the seats also have special RS7-R logos.
Additional R costs around 69,900 euros
Company offspring and racing driver Daniel Abt has also additionally wrapped an RS7-R in full film and refined it with a special engraving on the center console. This makes the limited RS7-R unique. ABT has priced all the special additions on this limited edition sports sedan at 69,900 euros, which means you can take your existing RS7 and get this revamp done.
If you prefer to get a complete vehicle from ABT before its is sold out, you will need to have at least 210,300 euros ready.
This is not the first Audi RS7 to get the ABT treatment. In July 2018, ABT released a highly tuned version of the Audi A7 TFSI with 425hp and 550Nm of torque.
