Peugeot 3008 owner Vince Lim was thankful today when he called the Peugeot helpline to get his 3008 back in running order. His Peugeot 3008 SUV battery had gone weak and needed a change and the Peugeot assistance came to his home and replaced his weak battery for him. It is good to know that when in a crisis situation like this, there is a back up to keep you moving ‘ONLY WHEN REALLY NECESSARY’. Remember, stay at home and go out only when really necessary.
The Peugeot Roadside Assistance programme provides new Peugeot owners with a wide range of comprehensive services, anytime and anywhere in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand (excluding all islands except Penang and Langkawi). All you need to do is call the 24-hour toll-free number:1-800-88-6292, to request for the following services:
- In the event that your vehicle is immobilised, Peugeot Assistance will arrange roadside assistance for you whenever practical, failing which your vehicle will be towed to the nearest Peugeot Service Centre.
- In the event that your vehicle is immobilised, Peugeot Assistance will arrange assistance for you. If you wish to have your car towed to Malaysia, Peugeot Assistance will cover the towing cost from the border to the nearest Peugeot Service Centre in Malaysia.
- In the event that immobilisation has occurred when you are more than 100km away from your home address, and your vehicle has been taken to a Peugeot Service Centre but repairs cannot be completed within the same day (specifically after 6pm on weekdays), Peugeot Assistance will organise and pay the cost for the most appropriate method of onward transport to your destination.
Alternatively, Peugeot will arrange up to 2 nights’ hotel accommodation for you with a maximum budget of RM400 per night. Any additional expenses shall be your responsibility.
This benefit is limited to up to 3 times a year and is subject to availability. Both benefits cannot be utilised at the same time.
Provided your vehicle has been towed by Peugeot Assistance, and you are more than 100km away from your home address, and your vehicle has been taken to a Peugeot Service Centre but repairs cannot be completed within the same day, (specifically after 6pm on weekdays), we will, whenever possible, organise and pay for a replacement car while your vehicle is being repaired, up to a maximum period of 2 days with a maximum budget of RM300 per day (excluding petrol cost).
Any extension beyond the 2-day coverage will be your responsibility.
If a taxi is required during a breakdown, Peugeot Assistance shall refer and assist to arrange for one. You are entitled for a maximum reimbursement of RM60 per event (limited to 3 times a year).
Upon request, Peugeot Assistance shall endeavour to contact the driver’s family and keep them informed of the driver’s whereabouts in the event of an accident or breakdown.
