The Macan GTS is powered by a 2.9-liter biturbo V6 mill that churns out 380 hp and 520 Nm of torque, an increase of 20 hp and 20 Nm over the previous version.

Combined with the newly adapted PDK dual-clutch transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package, it can accelerate from 0- to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, three tenths faster than before, with a top speed of 261 km/h.

In terms of appearance, the Macan GTS comes with the Sport Design package as standard, along with black elements on the front and rear sections and as well as darkened headlights and tail lights. 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels complete the look.

Inside, there’s Alcantara on the seat centre panels, the centre console armrests and door panels as well as brushed aluminium. The multifunction sports steering wheel with the steering wheel rim in smooth leather and shift paddles is standard, as are the sports seats with eight-way adjustment and pronounced side bolsters.

Options include BOSE Surround Sound system, new smartphone tray with inductive charging, adaptive cruise control, Traffic Jam Assist, Park Assist, rear view camera and Surround View, a heated windscreen and ioniser.

The Macan GTS is fitted with the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damping control system that has been lowered by 15 mm. Adaptive air suspension is optionally available with chassis lowering by a further 10 mm.

As an option, deceleration can be further improved by means of the Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) with tungsten carbide coating or the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).
