Volvo Car Malaysia Opens New 3S Centre in Ipoh

Volvo Car Malaysia has expanded its network in the Northern region with the opening of a new Volvo 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre in Ipoh, Perak.

Operated by dealer-partner iRoll Ipoh Sdn Bhd, the new facility aims to provide Volvo customers in the state with more access to the brand and its services.

The centre features a well-appointed, Scandinavian-inspired showroom that houses the brand’s latest models such as the S90, XC60, XC90, XC40 as well as the recently-launched S60. There is also a fully equipped service centre with a total of four repair bays.

The new centre adheres to Volvo Cars’ latest retail standard, called Volvo Retail Experience (VRE). It was created to focus the brand cornerstones more fully and serve customers in four main areas – the Contemporary Luxury Experience, Understanding, Interaction and Wellbeing.

“We are extremely glad for this opportunity and are looking forward to expanding our services and providing quality experiences throughout our customers ownership journey,” said Nalin Jain, Managing Director of Volvo Car Malaysia.

“We are proud that Volvo Car Malaysia has chosen to partner with us in Ipoh and together, we intend to cater to the ever-growing customer demand for Volvo’s exciting line of products and services,” said Tan Loon Shen, Managing Director, iRoll Ipoh Sdn Bhd.

Volvo Car Malaysia has been enjoying a surge in sales volume thanks to a stronger retail presence – a result of Volvo Car Malaysia’s transformation plan. In the first half of 2019, the company saw a 60% growth in sales, after growing 28% last year.
