Honda has just bagged an award at the recently held Putra Brand Awards 2014 for the “Automotive” category. “We are thrilled by this recognition at the Putra Brand Awards this year. We are glad that consumers recognize and believe in the power of our brand,” said Honda Malaysia.
The winners of the awards were chosen through research whereby respondents answered questions based on brand perception on topics such as awareness of brand names, growth brands, relevant brands and brand confidence. The research was conducted by Pulse, involving 6000 respondents of the general population, across 24 categories. The Putra Brand Awards, which was introduced in 2010, is an extension of the Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands programme. It is a brand recognition and evaluation exercise organized annually by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies (4A), in association with Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB). It is endorsed by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and is supported by the Branding Association of Malaysia (BAM), the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA), and the Media Specialists Association (MSA).
