If you are a huge fan of Paul Walker from the Fast & Furious movie franchisee you need to look into this as soon as possible as there are some 21 collectible vehicles from the personal collection of the late actor Paul Walker which will be sold by the Barrett-Jackson House at the 49th Scottdale Auction this coming January 11 to 19, 2020. There is enough time to get your funds in order and book your travel arrangements.
Best known for his role as a former police officer by the name of Brian O’Connor in the famous “Fast and Furious” franchise and for his charitable acts, which is still held today through the Paul Walker Foundation, founded by his daughter Meadow. and Reach Out Worldwide, Walker’s vehicles will be part of the world’s largest collection of race car auctions.
Barret-Jackson highlights the collection of the late Paul Walker has just seven units of the BMW M3, two in the E30 and five in the E36 body style but there are ‘Lightweight’ versions, which is lighter than the standard and is more oriented for use on circuits, although it is also an approved model to drive on public roads.
Such a car is visually distinguished primarily by a more aggressive rear spoiler and a new front bumper, among others, alongside an Alpine White body paint, combined with a BMW Motorsport livery with checkered flags in the BMW M colors.
Under the hood, this rare car is powered by a 3.0-liter S50 engine with six cylinders in line, coupled to a five-speed manual transmission. It is 91kg lighter than a standard M3 E36, but with the same 240 hp under the hood, these five units out of just 115 made by BMW, will be the most looked at car at this auction and could cost at least USD50,000 each unit.
Other interesting cars include a 2013 Ford Boss 302S race car that has never been driven. The car is powered by a Ford Racing V8 engine, equipped with unique Ford Racing PCS software and an abundance of other official Ford Racing components. Power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and EXEDY clutch to a Torsen T2R differential.
Another precious model on sale is a custom built Nissan 370Z from 2009 with only 4,221 km on odometer, which made an appearance in the movie “Fast Five”. This car is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 with 332 hp, which is mated to a manual gearbox and features several performance upgrades.
