0Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2020 Model On Winter Test
Does this look better than the current S-Class?
Designers and engineers from Mercedes-Benz have started testing the next new generation of the S-Class luxury sedan, which will be released on the market in 2020. A camouflaged prototype has already been spotted on winter test and we have these pictures from www.autoblog.com
The new S-Class will retain a known shape of the body, and the attention will be paid most to the details. Judging from the size of the rear doors, the test car is an S-Class version long wheelbase version. Slim LED headlights, a big hexagonal grille and intricate air intakes have become hallmarks of Mercedes’ flagship, and its rear lights will look similar to those on the new Mercedes CLS. Its position at the top of the range is also given away by its sheer size.
The first obvious details about the new top-of-the-range sedan is that it will receive new head-lights as well as tail-lights.
For the first time in the history of the S-Class model, but also in the entire range of Mercedes-Benz cars, will be the electrically operated retractable handles will appear! He found out about this after being surprised by a prototype test that no longer had the camouflage inserts that were hiding them previously.
This new S-Class will be produced in the new Factory 56 plant, which will be opened in 2020. The car factory will be the third largest in Germany and will have the most advanced assembly equipment.
NOTE: Embodiment of a modern luxury saloon.
The S-Class is the true embodiment of a modern luxury saloon: it is an exclusive first-class mobile office akin to a business jet and also an exquisite centre of well-being at the same time.
With extensive innovations the undisputed leader in the premium segment now takes the next step. Among the highlights are the considerably improved driving assistance systems and an all-new and highly efficient engine range with a series of new technologies for electrification of the powertrain.
The ENERGIZING comfort control is a world-first entering series production: this optional feature links various comfort systems in the vehicle together and allows customers to configure a specific wellness set-up to suit their mood or need.
