The roads surrounding Petaling Jaya and Glenmarie are all jammed with motorists trying to get on and off the Federal Highway.
This is why. On the 31st of July 2019 at about 7 pm in the evening there was a water pipe that burst right alongside the busy Federal Highway Route 2, at Km 6.6 (Shah Alam – Kuala Lumpur). The near to the gateway border of Selangor/Kuala Lumpur.
Both the right and middle lanes on the Federal Highway are temporarily closed for repair works which might take a few more hours.
Due to this burst pipe, motorists from Klang and Shah Alam heading to Kuala Lumpur is advised to use the NKVE, LDP or NPE as alternative routes to the city.
