All-New Mazda3 Launched Malaysia RM139K-RM160k

The all-new Mazda3 has been launched in Malaysia today. The Mazda3 comes in two body styles (4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback), with 2 engine options (1.5-litre and 2.0-litre inline 4 SkyActiv-G petrol with 6-speed auto) and in 3 specifications (1.5L, 2.0L (High) and 2.0L (High Plus)).

Colour choices include: Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Polymetal Gray, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver and Snowflake White Pearl. Polymetal Gray is the only colour unavailable on the sedan.

This new Mazda3 represents the company’s first “7th generation” production models. These cars represent Mazda moving towards a more premium segment of the market. They ride on a new Skyactiv-Vehicle architecture and brings a more mature and upmarket Kodo design language.

This is also reflected inside the car. A larger 8.8″ Mazda Connect system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support. Many other aspect have been elevated as well, including the audio solution. The 8-speaker system is now distributed in a unique way, with woofers being placed in the front cowl rather than the door cards.

1.5L and 2.0 (High) models come with 16″ rims whereas 2.0 (High Plus) cars come with 18″ wheels. LED headlights are standard, but the High Plus models come with LED signature illumination and LED DRLs. These also get 8 parking sensors.

10-way power adjustable driver seats with 2 position memory, leather upholstery, Power sunroof and Mazda advanced keyless entry is available on all but the 1.5L models.

ALL models get 7 airbags, ABS, DSC, EBD, EBA, TCS, ESS, HLA, Auto Hold, Speed sensing auto lock doors, seat belt warning for all seats.

i-ACTIVSENSE advanced safety technologies are on High Plus variants. This includes Adaptive Front lights, High Beam Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning System, Lane-Kepp Assist System, Driver Attention Alert, Smart Brake Support, and Mazda Cruise Control.
