At last week’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Alfa Romeo debuted their special edition Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio cars.
These were made to celebrate the brand’s return to Formula One, thus sport the same white and Competition Red livery from the Alfa Romeo C38, the brand’s current F1 car.
These “Alfa Romeo Racing” editions will only be made in limited quantity. That means they’re probably going to be sold out before the brand gets proper representation in Malaysia.
The livery actually follows the lines of the Formula One car pretty faithfully. But there’s more than a cosmetic bump on this car.
Here are some of the performance upgrades.
- They’ve also used a lot of carbon fibre on the exterior
- Titanium Akrapovic exhaust pipes (that emphasize the engine note)
- Engine outputs 520hp (+10hp)
- carbo-ceramic brakes
- carbon seat shells
- weight savings of 28kg over standard models
