MBPJ is Offering Big Discounts on Traffic Summonses

It has become common practice for the majority of Malaysian motorists to accumulate traffic summonses and wait until the next discount to be offered so they can pay them for a cheaper price.

We can say that this practice actually works in their favour because every year the authorities would come up with a discount period in the hope of enticing offenders to settle their outstanding traffic summonses.

For instance, Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) is now having a campaign offering discounts on traffic offences dating back to 1999. This campaign runs until 30th June 2019.

To check on summonses, you can contact the Enforcement Department at 03 7958 8085 or download the Smart PJ Enforcement app through Google Playstore or go to www.mbpj.gov.my.

Now, there are several ways to pay your fines up:

1. Visit the payment counter located at the MBPJ Headquarters, MBPJ Tower Lobby or Petaling Jaya Utara Branch Office in Kota Damansara
2. Use the Smart PJ Enforcement app (only on Google Playstore)
3. Use the kiosk machine at the MBPJ Headquarters, MBPJ Tower Lobby or Petaling Jaya Utara Branch Office in Kota Damansara
4. Pay online at https://epay.mbpj.gov.my.
