The Ducati Monster is known as the most approachable and accessible model in the Ducati model line-up, proven groundbreaking when it was introduced to the world of naked-motorcycle design in 1993.
The Monster 797+ is currently the smallest-displacement Monster and, with low-seat height, accessible power and standard ABS, it’s also the perfect bike for both new and returning riders.
PRESS Release: The Monster 797 uses the same engine as the Ducati Scrambler range, which means its puts out 50.8ft-lb of torque at 5750rpm.
It comes with a 16.5 litre fuel tank, a friendly seat height of 805mm, a Kayaba upside down 43mm front fork, and a pre-load and rebound damping adjustable Sachs rear shock. It of course has a Bosch ABS system as standard fitted to Brembo M4.32 radial-mounted brake calipers and running on Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres front and rear.
More than 325,000 Monsters have been made since 1993, making it the best-selling Ducati in the company’s history to date. For the 2019 model year, the Monster is available in 797cc, 821cc and 1200cc versions.
