Yes, McLaren supercars are officially back in Malaysia under a new company and we at www.dsf.my were the first to share this information more than a year ago. The delay in opening this flagship showroom in Malaysia was because McLaren Automotive UK was undergoing a change in their corporate identity and so it did not make sense for McLaren in Malaysia to set up a million-ringgit showroom and then months after have to make the necessary changes to cater to the new global corporate identity.
www.dsf.my met with their Chief Operating Officer, Ravinder Singh as he gave us a tour of the new facility and informed us that the workshop is open and sales had already started months ago with 11 cars already delivered to Malaysian customers.

So, the most important question…..how much does a brand new McLaren cost in Malaysia?
The McLaren 600LT Spider is priced from RM998,000 before options and import duties. With a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, this 600LT can call on peak power of 600PS (592bhp) at 7,500rpm and a maximum torque output of 620Nm (457lb ft) at 5,500-6,500rpm. These outputs deliver astonishing levels of performance: 0-100km/h (62mph) takes just 2.9 seconds and the 600LT can continue gathering speed to a top speed of 328km/h (204mph).
The McLaren 570S Spider is priced from RM898,000 before options and import duties. The combination of lightweight carbon fibre construction and an incredibly potent 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged McLaren V8 engine, means that the new McLaren 570S Spider is both more powerful and lighter than comparable convertibles, with an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 419PS per tonne (lightest dry weight). Positioned behind the driver, the twin-turbocharged McLaren M838TE engine produces 570PS at 7,500rpm and torque of 600Nm between 5,000rpm and 6,500rpm. In combination with a rapid yet smooth seven-speed seamless-shift gearbox featuring Launch Control technology, the result is a luxury sports convertible with supercar acceleration from standstill to 100km/h (62mph) in 3.2 seconds and to 200km/h (124mph) in just 9.6 seconds. Top speed is 328km/h (204mph) with the roof closed – identical to the 570S Coupé – and even with the roof lowered, the new Spider can reach 315km/h (196mph).
The McLaren 570S Coupe is priced from RM848,000 before options and import duties. Overall performance for the McLaren 570S Coupé is class-leading with the 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint taking 3.2 seconds, while 200 km/h is reached in just 9.5 seconds. Top speed is 328 km/h (204 mph).
The McLaren 720 Coupe is priced from RM1,118,000 before options and import duties. The 4.0-litre engine generates a maximum of 720PS and up to 770Nm of torque, delivering truly astonishing levels of performance: standstill to 100km/h (62mph) takes less than 3 seconds and just 5 seconds later the car has passed the 200km/h (124mph) mark. Maximum speed is 341km/h (212mph).
Shopping for a supercar just got easier in Malaysia.
