Boon Siew Honda has launched the latest version of its Wave 125i kapchai, which is priced at RM5,999 for the single-disc brake variant and RM6,299 for the double-disc brake variant.
Major updates for the Wave 125i include the addition of full body stripes, two-tone colour schemes as well as an LED headlight that is said to have a longer lifespan.
As before, there is an 18-litre under seat storage compartment big enough for a full-sized helmet and a 5.4-litre fuel tank which gives the bike an estimated range of 300 km.
Powering the bike is a 124.9 cc, single-cylinder mill with Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-Fi) that churns out 9 hp at 7,500 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is channeled to the rear wheel via a four-speed transmission.
The new Wave 125i is available in Pearl Magellanic Black with Candy Scintillate Red, Pearl Magellanic Black with Pearl Nightfall Blue, and Force Silver Metallic.
