Perodua has introduced its 66th Body and Paint (B&P) centre here to cater to the needs of its valued East Coast customers. The new RM2 million centre is owned and operated by long-time Perodua dealer Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd.
“We acknowledge and appreciate the investment by Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd as well as their commitment towards the needs of our valued customers,” Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd Managing Director Dato’ Dr Zahari Husin said.
Dato’ Dr Zahari said that Perodua will continue to look into further improving the capacity of its existing B&P facilities or establishing new facilities to fulfil the needs of over 3.2 million Perodua vehicle owners nationwide so far.
“In addition to enhancing convenience for our customers, this new facility also symbolises our commitment to grow the local automotive eco-system, especially independent dealers like Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd.
“This is part and parcel of Perodua’s responsibility as a national car company,” Dato’ Dr Zahari said.
Occupying an area of 17,000 sq ft, the new B&P facility is capable of mending up to 1,080 cars annually. The facility is located at Lot 12972 & 12973, Kg Padang Kala, Peringat District, 16150 Kota Bharu.
“With this new facility, our customers can be assured of quality workmanship and genuine parts in the repair of their cars. Our authorised personnel will also assist with the claims process.
“We understand that repairing one’s vehicle can be a stressful time, but we will do our best to ensure that your experience with us is easy and trouble-free,” said Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd Managing Director En Ab. Alim @ Ab. Halim bin Hassan.
An authorised Perodua dealer since 1994, Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd also operates a 1S (sales) outlet and a 2S (service and spare parts) outlet, both in Kubang Kerian.
“We find Perodua to have always been fair with its partners and are only too happy to invest in this new facility as we believe that as Perodua grows, so do home-grown businesses like us,” En Ab. Alim said.
Of the 66 Perodua B&P centres nationwide, seven serve the East Coast, centred around Kuala Terengganu, Kemaman, Kuantan, Jerantut and Kota Bharu.
