Tesla, a company in serious need of some good accountants, today announced that Dave Morton of Seagate Technology (the guys who make drives and storage solutions) would be their Chief Accounting Officer.
Dave’s most recent role was as Chief Financial Officer at Seagate and will bring more than two decades of significant financial and accounting expertise to Tesla. He will report to CFO Deepak Ahuja and be responsible for Tesla’s corporate financial reporting and global accounting, payroll, tax, and trade activities.
Let’s hope Dave has the kind of HARD DRIVE that Tesla needs. Wahay. Puns.
