Geely Auto Group announced that the total sales volume of the Group (including the sales volume of LYNK & CO-branded vehicles sold by the Group’s 50%-owned joint venture) for the month of June 2018 was 128,449 units, an increase of approximately 45% over the same period last year and up approximately 4% from May 2018. The Group’s exports volume was up around 150% year-on-year to 2,011 units in the month of June 2018.
During the month of June 2018, the Group’s total sales volume in the China market was 126,438 units, an increase of around 44% from the same period last year. The total sales volume in the first half of 2018 was 766,630 units, an increase of approximately 44% from the same period last year, and achieving around 49% of the Group’s full-year sales volume target of 1,580,000 units in 2018.
During the month of June 2018, the sales volumes of “New Emgrand” and “Vision” sedan were 19,645 units and 11,734 units, respectively. The sales volume of “Geely Boyue” was 22,233 units. The sales volume of “Emgrand GS”, its crossover SUV model, was 14,044 units. The sales volume of “Emgrand GL”, its A+ segment sedan model, was 13,819 units. The sales volume of “Vision SUV” was 10,426 units. During the month of June 2018, the sales volume of “LYNK & CO 01” was 9,247 units.
With the strong and better-than-expected sales performance of the Group in the first half of 2018 and the good market feedback for the upcoming new models to be launched in the remainder of the year, the Group’s management team is confident to achieve and believe it is likely to exceed the full-year sales volume target of 1,580,000 units in 2018.
