Fans of the Zeekr 009 please take note that there has been an OS 2.1 upgrade, bringing intelligent mobility to the next level.
This latest OTA (Over-The-Air) update provides over 15 vehicular enhancements, such as Sentry Mode, Guest Mode, Voice Commands, Vehicle Lock Failure Alert, and upgrades to the Zeekr Mobile App.
Best of all is the inclusion of Disney+ and Prime Video, now available on the 2nd-row ceiling screen for the full benefit of your loved ones.
With each OTA upgrade, Zeekr continues to redefine luxury and innovation in quick and green mobility.
If you are not aware of this new battery powered luxury MPV, let is share some information. This is the Zeekr 009 and it arrived in Malaysia in October last year, 2024.
Two variants were introduced in Malaysia. The first being the Zeekr 009 luxury people mover (MPV) which was priced from RM349,800 and looking to take away some of the customers from UMW Toyota who were about to buy a brand new Toyota Alphard.
The large and luxurious Zeekr 009 MPV pricing starts at RM349,800 for the 7-seater configuration, with the 6-seater priced slightly higher at RM359,800 (less seats but costs more). The petrol powered Toyota Alphard is priced at RM538k (has full import duties included and Zeekr has NO import duties as it is an electric vehicle).
Thanks to its twin-motor setup that has a whopping 603 hp and 693 Nm of torque on tap, the Zeekr 009’s quoted 4.5 second 0-100 km/h time will naturally see it as being one of the fastest minivans around.
This upmarket MPV will be one of the longest-range EVs in Malaysia too, courtesy of its absolutely honking 116 kWh battery pack apparently capable of going a WLTP-claimed 582 km on a single charge.
