The Audi Q7 becomes the first ever locally-assembled model in Malaysia from the brand with the four rings.
PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) has marked a significant milestone with the introduction of the first-ever locally-assembled Audi Q7, set to launch in May 2025 with order books now open. This strategic move positions Audi to capture a slice of Malaysia’s premium SUV segment with an attractively priced flagship vehicle between RM469,000 and RM489,000.

The locally-assembled status of the new Q7 finally shows Audi’s commitment to the Malaysian market, bringing its German engineering excellence at more accessible price points. This development coincides with PHSAM’s expansion of Audi sales and service outlets across Malaysia, enhancing customer experience and after-sales support nationwide.

“The Audi Q7 was the first SUV that Audi introduced twenty years ago, and it has remained a benchmark in the premium luxury SUV segment. As a locally assembled model, it will be competitively priced, broadening our portfolio and strengthening our presence in the Malaysian market,” stated Denyu Bostandzhiev, Managing Director of PHSAM.
Powerful Performance with Advanced Technology
Under the hood, the Malaysian-assembled Q7 features a robust 3.0-litre TFSI V6 petrol engine delivering 340 PS and 500 Nm of torque. The integration of 48V MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle) technology enhances efficiency while reducing emissions. This powerful combination enables the Q7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds.

Power is managed through an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission with Audi’s renowned quattro permanent all-wheel drive system ensuring optimal traction in all conditions. Drivers can personalize their experience with up to seven different modes via Audi Drive Select.

Premium Features and Cutting-Edge Design
The new Q7 comes standard with S line trim and the Black Styling Package Plus, giving it a distinctive athletic appearance. Exterior highlights include:
- HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi Laser Light
- Digital OLED rear lamps
- 22-inch Audi Sports 5-V-spoke star wheels
- Black Audi Singleframe mask and anthracite grey Audi rings
Inside, the seven-seater Q7 combines luxury with practicality through features such as:
- Valcona leather Sports Seats Plus with massage function
- Ambient Lighting Package with 30 color options
- 4-zone deluxe air conditioning
- 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Sound System
- Power Latching Doors and kick sensor-powered boot opening
Advanced Safety and Comfort Technologies
The locally-assembled Q7 doesn’t compromise on Audi’s commitment to safety and driver assistance. It comes equipped with Adaptive Air Suspension Sport that adjusts ride height and comfort based on selected driving modes. All-Wheel Steering enhances maneuverability, particularly in tight spaces.

Safety features include Audi Pre-sense (front and rear), Side Assist with Exit Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Assist, Lane Departure Warning, and a Head-Up Display.
