Zeekr has a new self-driving coming to the 9X flagship SUV and it’s called G-Pilot. Here’s how it sets itself apart.
Zeekr Group is setting new standards in automotive intelligence with the introduction of its cutting-edge G-Pilot driving solution. This advanced system represents a significant leap forward in autonomous driving technology, combining AI, big data, state-of-the-art system-on-chips, and sophisticated electrical architecture to deliver unprecedented safety and intelligent capabilities.

Innovative Features for Enhanced Safety and Convenience
The Zeekr G-Pilot introduces several groundbreaking technologies, including the industry’s first General Automated Evasion System (G-AES). This revolutionary safety feature enables continuous evasive maneuvers to avoid unexpected obstacles even at high speeds between 80-130km/h. What makes G-AES particularly remarkable is its foundation in AI large model training, allowing the system to recognize irregular obstacles and continuously improve through ongoing learning.

Another standout innovation is the Full-Capacity Vehicle-to-Parking (V2P) intelligent drive system. This technology eliminates common parking frustrations by enabling Zeekr vehicles to drive anywhere and park anywhere, supported by the recently updated map-free urban NZP function. The AI Smart Parking Roaming capability takes convenience even further by autonomously searching for nearby available parking spots and completing the parking process without driver intervention.
Zeekr 9X: Flagship Model with L3-Ready Capabilities
The upcoming Zeekr 9X luxury SUV will be the first model equipped with Zeekr G-Pilot’s top-tier H9 technology, featuring L3-ready autonomous driving capabilities. Set to be unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show, the Zeekr 9X is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2025. This flagship vehicle is built on Zeekr’s next-generation ZEEA 3.0 electrical and electronic architecture and will incorporate a powerful intelligent driving domain controller with dual NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor processors, delivering an impressive computing power of 1,400 TOPS.

Continuous Improvement Through OTA Updates
Zeekr plans to enable both the V2P and G-AES functionalities on its existing vehicle lineup through over-the-air (OTA) updates in the coming months. This approach underscores Zeekr’s commitment to enhancing vehicle capabilities throughout their lifespan, ensuring that G-Pilot will continue to evolve and improve as AI technology advances.

The G-Pilot solution is being offered in different levels to meet the diverse requirements of users who value Zeekr’s intelligent driving experiences. As part of Geely’s broader G-Pilot technology portfolio, this new solution demonstrates Zeekr’s leadership in automotive innovation with its focus on safety, intelligent competence, and cutting-edge technology.
