Honda Malaysia Reveals Its Strategy For 2025, 3 New BEV Models Planned

Honda Malaysia is ready to electrify the year with its new offerings

Honda Malaysia has set an ambitious goal of selling 83,000 units in 2025, aiming to achieve a market share of 10.6 percent. This target is part of the company’s strategic direction, which includes the launch of three new models, such as the highly anticipated New Civic released in January.

Looking ahead, Honda Malaysia remains committed to prioritizing customers and adapting to market trends. The company is confident that both internal combustion engine (ICE) and e:HEV (hybrid) technologies will continue to thrive in the Malaysian market, benefiting from improved infrastructure, consumer preferences and ongoing technological advancements.

Moreover, the e:N1 launch is a key element of Honda Malaysia’s broader electrification strategy, which includes introducing three more Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) models by 2027. This initiative aligns with Honda’s global electrification approach, establishing a solid foundation for the company’s future in the electric vehicle sector.

Honda Malaysia is also dedicated to enhancing its offerings and solidifying its position as an industry leader. To further elevate customer experience, Honda Malaysia focuses on improving both sales and after-sales services. The company operates a comprehensive network of 104 dealerships, supported by highly trained professionals.

Honda Malaysia ensures that all associates remain well-equipped with the latest knowledge to meet customer expectations. In line with its commitment to convenience and practicality, Honda Malaysia is prioritizing digitalization to streamline the after-sales process.

On top of that, the HondaTouch platform, which has registered over 430,000 active users, is a key part of this digital transformation, providing a seamless and efficient service experience. With a vision to Power Progress and Expand Joy, Honda Malaysia continues to innovate by advancing both ICE and e:HEV technologies while integrating BEV solutions.

This forward-thinking strategy enables Honda to stay relevant and meet the growing demand for versatile, sustainable mobility solutions. In 2024, Honda Malaysia achieved total sales of 81,600 units, securing a 10 percent market share and solidifying its position as the No.1 brand in the Non-National Passenger Vehicle Segment for the 11th consecutive year.

The HR-V, City, and CR-V were the company’s top-selling models, contributing significantly to the total sales. As Honda Malaysia moves forward into 2025, the company remains dedicated to providing excellent performance, innovation, and an enjoyable driving experience for its customers.
