Would you like to own a Dongfeng M-Hero 917?
Dongfeng, a Chinese automaker who has already shown off a few of its cars here in Malaysia is now making waves for its new offering, the M-Hero 917, a fully electric SUV inspired by military vehicles and has a range of 1,000km too. It also possesses amazing off-road capabilities and is built to last. Let’s see what it is all about.
The Dongfeng M-Hero 917 proves its exceptional strength and off-road capabilities in the Hardcore Off-Road Challenge. It features a 540° transparent chassis, the M-Hero 917 makes “blind driving” over rocky terrains an effortless task, allowing drivers to navigate the toughest paths with precision and ease.
Moreover, the M-Hero 917’s frame endured a series of hammer blows during its rigorous strength test, emphasizing its robust construction. Built with a carbon fiber frame, the SUV is designed to withstand the harshest of conditions, making it a true champion in off-road adventures.
The Dongfeng M-Hero 917 makes an impressive 1,800hp and 1,400Nm of torque from its all-electric powertrain, ensuring powerful acceleration and outstanding off-road performance. It also has a top speed of 191km/h, and integrates cutting-edge smart technology for a modern driving experience.
On top of that, the M-Hero 917 also sports an intelligent digital cockpit as well as an in-vehicle PM2.5 filter to keep the air in the car clean. Meanwhile the unheard of long-range capability of 1,00km makes it perfect for extended off-road trips, offering both sustainability and power without compromise. This is seriously impressive and should be the standard for more EVs.
M-Hero is a subsidiary of the Dongfeng Motor Group (DFG), a government owned brand in the Chinese automotive industry. We already know that the brand is known for making rugged yet luxurious SUVs and now, the M-Hero 917 takes this legacy to a whole new level with how truly innovative the car really is.
Most EVs simply do not have viable range on a single charge and as anyone who has ever driven an EV knows, the faster the car goes, the quicker the battery drains which then reduces the range further. So if an EV comes with more range like this Dongfeng M-Hero 917, then even if one pushes the car a little, the range will still be somewhat viable.
So what do you think? Would you want to own a Dongfeng M-Hero 917 here in Malaysia?
