Changan establishes itself as a leader in electric mobility with all its brands and cars now
While there are a plethora of Chinese automakers popping out of the woodwork everyday, most of them either don’t last very long or are unremarkable, however, some are truly a cut above the rest and Changan just proved it belongs in the latter group at the 2024 Bangkok International Motor Show.
This motor show cemented Changan’s position as a leader in the electric vehicle (EV) market and achieved a milestone securing the most EV bookings, with Thai drivers showing strong enthusiasm for the brand’s EV City Car, Lumin. This growing demand for Lumin underscores Changan’s expanding presence and appeal in Thailand’s competitive electric vehicle market.
Moreover, at the Motor Show, Changan unveiled several cutting edge EVs, including the Lumin, the Deepal S07 L, L07 S, the Avatr 11 and the CD701. The positive reception to these cars over the 14-day event highlighted Changan’s commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable EVs, solidifying its status as one of the top brands in the Thai EV sector.
Mr. Shen Xinghua, Managing Director and President of Changan Auto Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., expressed immense pride in the brand’s success since its debut in Thailand at the end of 2023. He emphasized the importance of customer satisfaction in Changan’s expansion and long-term success in the Thai market.
On top of that, according to Mr. Shen, Changan’s growing network of Deepal service centers and after-sales services in Thailand is a key factor in the company’s commitment to providing not only innovative products but also exceptional customer experiences. Will the brand leverage those Thai centres to import to Malaysia or build more here if they decide to sell here?
