Just like with so many iconic cars, now the Honda CB1300 bikes will also be no more
Honda bids farewell to its legendary 1,300cc naked motorcycle, the CB1300, a model that has earned a special place in the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide. This iconic bike, renowned for its robust four-cylinder engine and the timeless Universal Japanese Motorcycle (UJM) styling, has been a fan favorite since its evolution from the CB1000 Super Four back in 1998.
Honda is officially concluding this era with the introduction of two exclusive models, namely the CB1300 Super Four SP Final Edition and the CB1300 Super Bol D’Or SP Final Edition. These limited-edition motorcycles represent the culmination of decades of engineering excellence and design innovation.
Moreover, both the CB1300 Super Four SP Final Edition and the CB1300 Super Bol D’Or SP Final Edition are equipped with advanced technology features that enhance both performance and comfort. These include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for improved stability and traction, multiple riding modes for different riding conditions, a quickshifter for seamless gear changes and heated grips to ensure rider comfort during colder weather.
Additionally, the premium Öhlins suspension offers a refined ride, enhancing handling and overall stability. Despite its immense popularity among motorcycle enthusiasts in Japan, the CB1300 never made it to the U.S. market, primarily due to its large size and niche appeal. The CB1300 is considered a quintessential example of a traditional naked bike, with its powerful engine and minimalistic design, making it a true standout among enthusiasts.
On top of that, the Final Edition models are available at a premium price of ¥2,101,000 (about RM62,303) for the CB1300 Super Four SP Final Edition and ¥2,211,000 (roughly RM65,536) for the CB1300 Super Bol D’Or SP Final Edition. These models are expected to be the last opportunity for riders to own a piece of Honda’s rich motorcycle history, marking the end of an era for this beloved bike.
For those who have long admired the CB1300 for its heritage and performance, the Final Edition models represent the perfect opportunity to own one of these legendary Honda motorcycles before they are retired for good.
