This lady is now the head of Hyundai Motor Malaysia
Yes, Hyundai Motor has setup a Malaysian office and it is still business as usual for Hyundai Sime Darby. Just like how KIA Motors set up their Malaysian office a few years ago, Hyundai, who incidentally is the parent of KIA Motors has set up an office and Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen is heading the team in their new office.
If you are NOT from the automotive industry you probably never heard of this very experienced lady, but she has done her tour of duty in the automotive industry.
Starting in Honda Malaysia as the Manager-Head of their spare parts division, she left Honda Malaysia a few years ago (after 17 years) in the role of Vice President.
Then she joined Federal Auto Holdings Berhad looking after the Volvo and Volkswagen brands for almost 2 years.
Now she is back in Malaysia and sitting at the all new Hyundai Motor office. This means that you will soon see shiny new Hyundai models coming to Malaysia in nearly all segments and you might even see better prices to rival the many Chinese automotive brands in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, we are sure there will one or two …… former Honda Malaysia executives joining her team ……. In fact, one former Honda senior executive will be starting work side by side with Jahabarnisa first thing March 2025.
