Xiaomi Delivers 135,000 Units Of It’s SU7 EVs For 2024

How many units of the SU7 can Xiaomi deliver to customers in 2025?

Xiaomi Automotive has wrapped up an impressive 2024, achieving a significant milestone with the delivery of 135,000 units of its flagship SU7 electric vehicle (EV) since its launch in late March 2024. This rapid success highlights the brand’s strong entry into the competitive EV market and positions the company as a serious player in the global automotive industry.

The company, which was spun off from the renowned electronics giant Xiaomi Inc., has grown rapidly in just three years since its founding. The brand’s automotive division has leveraged the brand’s expertise in consumer electronics to produce an EV that appeals to a broad market.

Moreover, the 2025 Xiaomi SU7 EV, which was launched in late 2023, received an overwhelmingly positive reception, with over 50,000 orders placed within the first 27 minutes of its release. Initially, Xiaomi set an ambitious target to deliver 60,000 units of the SU7 in 2024.

However, given the high demand, the company quickly scaled up production and exceeded its expectations, reaching 100,000 units by mid-November and ultimately surpassing 135,000 by the end of the year. To further capitalize on its momentum, Xiaomi plans to more than double its EV output in 2025.

The company has also set a target of delivering 300,000 EVs, buoyed by the introduction of a new SUV model, the YU7, and an expanded production capacity. The YU7 is expected to attract a different segment of customers, helping Xiaomi diversify its offerings and broaden its appeal in the EV market.

On top of that, Xiaomi is also investing heavily in expanding its production capabilities. Phase two of its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Beijing is set to be completed by mid-2025. This expansion will significantly increase the brand’s production capacity, enabling the company to meet the growing demand for its EVs.

With this new infrastructure in place, Xiaomi is poised to reach its ambitious goals for 2025 and continue its rapid growth in the EV sector. The company’s aggressive strategy and rapid scaling demonstrate its commitment to becoming a major force in the EV market.

The brand’s ability to adapt quickly to market demands, backed by its technological expertise and expansive manufacturing capabilities, positions it for long-term success in a rapidly evolving industry. As 2025 approaches, Xiaomi Automotive shows no signs of slowing down, and it will be exciting to see how the company further disrupts the EV landscape in the years to come.
