Porsche Malaysia has offered a new, more eco-friendly Cayenne to the Malaysian market
Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance, has officially launched the new Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé in Malaysia. Following its successful debut in Thailand, this sporty SUV marks the second model to be assembled in Malaysia and the first for regional export.
The Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé is now ready for bookings at Porsche Centres across Malaysia. The introduction of the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé comes as a significant milestone for Porsche’s local operations. To enhance driving comfort, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé is equipped with a new adaptive air suspension featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), providing improved performance and stability across various driving conditions.
Moreover, the new Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé showcases an expressive and athletic design, combining luxury with sportiness. Malaysian customers can personalize their vehicle with exterior paint options such as Carrara White Metallic, Chromite Black Metallic and Dolomite Silver Metallic, available at no additional cost.
The 20-inch Cayenne S Design wheels in Vesuvius Grey add a dynamic and refined touch to the SUV’s appearance. It also features the newly designed HD Matrix LED headlights, providing superior visibility with more than 32,000 pixels per headlamp. Inside, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé offers enhanced luxury with features like a GT Sports steering wheel, Sport Chrono package with Porsche Design clock, and a premium BOSE Surround Sound System.
The new Cayenne also comes with smooth-finish leather upholstery in Black or Bordeaux Red, 14-way adjustable comfort seats with a memory package, four-zone climate control, and rear side window sunblinds. For passengers’ comfort, Rear Seat Entertainment pre-wiring is available, with optional rear screens for an immersive experience.
On top of that, the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé also introduces a modern Porsche Driver Experience, including a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The automatic gear selector has been relocated to the dashboard, enhancing the cabin’s layout with additional storage and a sleek air conditioning controller.
Performance-wise, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbo engine making 382kW of power combined with the electric motor, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 263km/h. The electric-only range extends up to 90km, making it ideal for city commuting.
