Volvo Car Malaysia opens bookings for locally-assembled EX30.
Volvo Car Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the locally assembled (CKD) Volvo EX30, following the sold-out success of its fully imported (CBU) version launched in September 2024. This marks Volvo’s continued commitment to delivering sustainable, safe, and technologically advanced vehicles tailored for modern lifestyles.
EX30: Local Assembly for MY25 Models
The locally assembled Volvo EX30 is available in two variants: Ultra and Ultra Twin Performance, with prices starting at RM208,888 and RM228,888, respectively. The first batch of deliveries is scheduled for January 2025. Customers can choose from three sophisticated colors: Cloud Blue, Vapour Grey, and Crystal White. This means that the base model that came in below RM200,000 has been cut from the line-up for CKD production. Pricing for the remaining two models has not changed. It also means that the Moss Yellow colour has been dropped in Malaysia. Strange, considering the only images supplied with the CKD press release featured cars in this colour.

Both variants are powered by a 69 kWh NMC battery, with fast charging capabilities (10-80% in 28 minutes via 175 kW DC fast charging).
