Deepal S07 Debuts In Singapore, Confirmed For Malaysia In 2025

At the Singapore Motor Show 2025, the Deepal S07 made its debut.

Deepal is one of the MANY Chinese brands slated for introduction to Malaysia. Here, they will be represented by Bermaz, who already have Xpeng as a Chinese EV brand under their umbrella alongside legacy marques such as Mazda and Kia. While we wait for Deepal to make its debut here, Singapore as already been graced with their first model from this Changan sub-brand.

At the 2025 Singapore Motor Show, Premium Automobiles (who represent Zeekr and Xpeng on the Island-Nation) debuted the Deepal S07. The S07 is an all-electric SUV with a rear motor capable of 258hp and 320Nm of torque. It has a 66.8 kWh lithium ion battery that gives the car 485km of range on the NEDC protocol. The Deepal S07 is capable of 78kW DC charging. This SUV is 4750 mm long, 1930 mm wide and 1,625 mm tall with a 2,900mm wheelbase and 165mm of ground clearance.

In terms of equipment, the Deepal S07 SUV gets an augmented reality HUD navigation, a 15.6″ touchscreen, a 14-speaker audio system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and many more high-tech features. A panoramic sunroof and power adjustable front seats are included too. Design wise, Singaporeans can expect frameless windows and a ‘yatch-like’ interior according to the official website for Deepal Singapore. As of writing this, no pricing has been confirmed for the car in Singapore but a ‘Register your interest’ form is up.

In Malaysia, this is also the Deepal model most likely to come first alongside the S05. Both will likely come from the company’s new facility in Rayong, Thailand. Interestingly, the S07 that was launched in Singapore shares some DNA with the Mazda EZ-6. Are the synergies there for Bermaz to bring in a RHD converted electric Mazda sedan if they represent both Mazda and Deepal in Malaysia? We doubt it, but we can dream.
