The Zeekr 7X electric SUV has just been revealed and it already being planned for introduction here.
The EV market in Malaysia shows unrelenting progress as the all-new Zeekr 7X has been unveiled globally and is already slated for launch here. This sophisticated EV is poised to challenge competitors like the BYD Sealion 7.
The Zeekr 7X offers drivers unprecedented flexibility with two powerful powertrain options. The rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variant boasts a robust 310 kW (415 hp) motor, while the top-tier all-wheel-drive (AWD) model delivers a breathtaking 470 kW (630 hp). Performance enthusiasts will be thrilled by the AWD version’s lightning-fast 0-100 km/h acceleration of just 3.8 seconds.
Range anxiety becomes a thing of the past with the Zeekr 7X’s impressive 615 km range (WLTP). The vehicle comes with two battery options: a 75 kWh LFP and a 100 kWh NMC, both supporting ultra-fast charging capabilities.
One of the most remarkable features of the Zeekr 7X is its 800V platform and incredible charging speed. Using a 480kW DC charger, the smaller battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in a mere 13 minutes, while the larger 100 kWh battery takes just 16 minutes. This rapid charging capability sets a new standard in the EV market.
The interior of the Zeekr 7X is a technological marvel. A 16-inch center screen and a massive 36.2-inch augmented reality head-up display provide drivers with an immersive experience. The infotainment system is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip and features a Zeekr GPT AI voice assistant.
Safety is paramount, with an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) equipped with 11 cameras and 1 radar. The vehicle also offers air suspension, allowing ground clearance to be adjusted by up to 45 mm for improved adaptability.
Practicality meets elegance in the Zeekr 7X’s design. It offers a generous 539-litre rear luggage compartment and an additional 66 litres of front storage. Riding on 21-inch wheels, the crossover combines style with functionality.
Zeekr demonstrates confidence in its product with an impressive warranty package. The vehicle comes with a standard 5-year or 100,000 km warranty, extendable up to 10 years or 200,000 km. The high-voltage battery is covered for 8 years and 200,000 km.
While the Zeekr 7X is currently launching in European markets like the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway, its entry into the Malaysian market is also planned for next year to give the recently launched BYD Sealion 7 some trouble.
