XPENG, a leading Chinese smart electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has officially launched the XPENG X9, a flagship large seven-seater MPV built on its cutting-edge SEPA2.0 platform. The X9 marks a significant step in redefining the future of smart driving, interior comfort, safety, and maneuverability for large EVs and is confirmed to be launched in Malaysia in 2025.

The X9 is now available in China, with a price range of RMB359,800 to RMB419,800 (about RM219,324 to RM255,956), and deliveries starting immediately. The XPENG X9 sets a new benchmark in the MPV segment with its advanced SEPA2.0 architecture, offering exceptional design, intelligence, space, and safety.

Moreover, with an innovative approach to versatility, the XPENG X9 transforms from a spacious seven-seater to a comfortable four-seater SUV at the push of a button, offering both the comfort of an  MPV and the flexibility of an SUV and is equipped with the full-scenario XNGP Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and the next-gen XOS Tianji in-car operating system.

On top of that, the MPV also features a smart refrigerator, a 21.4-inch family infotainment system display, and zero-gravity reclining sofas for maximum comfort. Additionally, the X9 introduces a world-first wrap-around integrated central AC, ensuring a quiet and soothing environment for all passengers.

The XPENG X9 also offers exceptional handling, thanks to its active rear-wheel steering system and intelligent dual-chamber air suspension. The vehicle has a remarkable turning radius of just 5.4 meters, smaller than many compact SUVs, making it agile and easy to drive in tight spaces. The air suspension system adjusts automatically based on road conditions.

The vehicle features a front-and-rear-integrated aluminum die-casting body structure, offering impressive torsional rigidity and enhanced crash safety.
