Join the dark side with the new Black Roadster Livery for the 2025 Ducati Diavel V4
Since its introduction in 2011, the Diavel has captured attention and achieved tremendous success due to its unique design, blending muscular, sporty, exaggerated, and elegant elements. Its distinctiveness has earned numerous prestigious awards from prominent design institutions, solidifying its place in the motorcycle world.
For the 2025 Model Year, the Diavel V4 takes boldness to new heights with the unveiling of the striking “Black Roadster Livery” at Intermot 2024. Designed by the Centro Stile Ducati, the new graphics are inspired by the colours closely tied to Ducati’s history and the Diavel.
Moreover, the Racing Yellow accents on the tank, tail, and side panels bring vibrancy to a colour scheme dominated by black and titanium tones, ensuring the Diavel V4 remains a showstopper. A redesigned seat further enhances the bike’s uncompromising, bold character. The Diavel V4 is inspired by muscle cars, combining the powerful image of an athlete poised to race with a design that focuses mass at the front, tapering to an agile, slim tail.
Its front and rear light clusters, along with full-LED indicators, contribute to its unmistakable presence. Notably, the rear light features a matrix of point-shaped LEDs, arranged under the tail in an unprecedented, eye-catching design that ensures the Ducati Diavel V4 is immediately recognizable on the road.
At the heart of the Diavel V4 is Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine, a central feature of the bike’s design and also a technological marvel derived from the MotoGP Desmosedici. With 168 horsepower and abundant torque, the engine is lightweight, compact, and delivers smooth, fluid power even at low revs.
On top of that, its maintenance intervals are industry-leading, with valve clearance checks every 60,000 km, thanks to the advanced timing control system with spring return. The Ducati Diavel V4 also boasts a distinctive exhaust system, featuring a four-exit silencer that enhances its unique sound, thanks to the Twin Pulse firing order.
Another standout feature is the massive 240/45 rear tyre, paired with refined five-spoke alloy wheels featuring machined surfaces, giving the bike a sophisticated appearance. In just two years, the Diavel V4 has garnered prestigious accolades, including the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, a Special Mention at the German Design Awards 2024, and the “Best of the Best” Red Dot Award 2024.
These accolades, alongside previous awards for the Diavel models, underscore Ducati’s design excellence. The Diavel has also captivated luxury car enthusiasts, exemplified by the limited-edition Ducati Diavel for Bentley, showcasing the collaboration between Ducati and Bentley as a collector’s masterpiece.
