New Ducati Streetfighter V4: The Most Powerful Fight Formula Ever

See why this version of the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is more potent than ever

The new Ducati Streetfighter V4, revealed in the latest episode of Ducati’s World Première, is a naked superbike derived from the Panigale V4. It features a 214hp Desmosedici Stradale engine, advanced electronics, and race-inspired technology, creating a motorcycle that excels both on the track and the road.

With a weight of 189 kg and a power-to-weight ratio of 1.13 hp/kg, the Streetfighter V4 offers unparalleled performance, featuring a Euro5+ engine homologation and significant upgrades in chassis, suspension, and braking systems. The Streetfighter V4 is closer than ever to the Panigale V4 in terms of design and technology.

Moreover, the engine, based on Ducati’s MotoGP Desmosedici, delivers 214hp and 12.2kg of torque. It has been further refined, featuring a revised cam profile and variable-length intake trumpets for improved performance and rideability. The engine’s layout ensures a distinctive, MotoGP-like sound and offers performance gains when paired with the Ducati Performance Akrapovič racing exhaust.

The bike’s design showcases Ducati‘s signature aggressive styling, with sharp lines and aerodynamic enhancements like the forward-slanting biplane wings, now 17kg more effective in downforce. These features provide the bike with excellent high-speed stability and nimble handling.

The ergonomics have also been adjusted to enhance rider comfort, especially for taller riders, with a new seat-tank unit and refined handlebar and footpeg positioning. The chassis is directly derived from the Panigale V4, featuring a lighter Front Frame and a new Ducati Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm. This setup improves stability and traction, while also reducing weight.

On top of that, the Streetfighter V4 S is equipped with Öhlins Smart EC3.0 suspension, offering greater comfort for everyday use and enhanced precision on the track. Brembo Hypure calipers and the Race eCBS braking system further elevate the bike’s handling and safety.

Ducati’s electronic systems are advanced, including Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Slide Control, and the new Ducati Vehicle Observer algorithm. These systems ensure optimal performance and rider safety, dynamically adjusting based on riding conditions.

The bike also features a new 6.9-inch dashboard with a customizable interface for both road and track use, providing easy access to critical data like lap times, lean angles, and throttle/brake inputs. The 2025 Streetfighter V4 will be available in March 2025, in both V4 and V4 S versions, offering a thrilling combination of performance, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.
