The one-off Lamborghini Revuelto Opera Unica is stunning from every angle
Lamborghini unveiled the one-off Revuelto Opera Unica during the Lamborghini Esperienza Arte event at U-TANK No.5 in Shanghai’s West Bund. Created by Lamborghini Centro Stile and the Ad Personam personalization department, this unique masterpiece is designed specifically for the Chinese market.
It highlights Lamborghini’s innovation, artistry, and commitment to bespoke craftsmanship. Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini’s CEO, described the Opera Unica as a perfect fusion of speed, power, and artistry. It embodies Lamborghini’s pursuit of excellence in both automotive engineering and creative design, further elevating the brand’s legacy.
Moreover, the Revuelto Opera Unica’s exterior design is inspired by the Taurus constellation and symbolizes Lamborghini’s Direzione Cor Tauri strategy toward electrification. The car’s paint, featuring a stunning Rosso Mars and Arancio Dac livery with fading effects from Nero Pegaso to Rosso Efesto, required an additional 480 hours of specialized craftsmanship.
A Rosso Efesto rear diffuser enhances its dynamic look, while the interior showcases refined Nero Ade leather with Rosso Efesto accents. The meticulous craftsmanship included 53 extra hours for hand-finished inverted stitching and piping that highlight the logo. The car also features a bespoke carbon plate with Rosso Efesto shades and a Bianco Monocerus inscription.
Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s Design Director, also emphasized that the Opera Unica represents the brand’s dedication to innovative design and performance, showcasing the immense power and excitement inherent in the Revuelto. The Ad Personam program allows customers to personalize every detail of their Lamborghini, ensuring no two cars are alike, with limitless options in colors, materials, and finishes.
On top of that, the event also featured the Revuelto within the installation “The Racing of Speed,” where a racing Revuelto is depicted alongside the mythical Somersault Cloud from Chinese culture, symbolizing speed and power. Additionally, the Lamborghini Urus SE was showcased, marking the brand’s first plug-in hybrid SUV.
The Urus SE combines a twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor, delivering 800CV (about 789hp) and 950Nm of torque, providing impressive performance and reduced emissions. The Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first super sports V12 hybrid, launched in 2023, integrates a high-performance combustion engine and three electric motors.
It delivers 1,015 CV (roughly 1,001hp), accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, and reaches a top speed of over 350km/h, pushing the boundaries of performance, design, and driving pleasure. What do you think of this raging bull?
