Considering that GAC already launched the GS3 here, is the S7 next?
GAC revealed the highly anticipated S7 at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, marking a significant step in the company’s evolution towards new energy vehicles. The S7, a mid-to-large luxury SUV, blends high-end sophistication with modern simplicity, showcasing a bold new design language that reflects the grandeur of traditional luxury SUVs while embracing the sleek, forward-thinking aesthetics of electric vehicles (EVs).
This vehicle not only signifies GAC’s commitment to the future of automotive design but also sets a new standard for sustainable luxury. With a commanding presence on the road, the GAC S7 measures 4.9 meters in length, 1.8 meters in height, and features a ground clearance of 200mm.
Moreover, its design is based on the golden ratio, achieving perfect proportions that evoke balance and harmony. The GAC S7’s side profile is a testament to timeless design, with carefully crafted horizontal and vertical lines, including the roofline, waistline, and skirt line, enhancing its structural integrity while contributing to its visual appeal.
The waistline, positioned at the 0.618 golden ratio, further emphasizes the S7’s elegant and classic aesthetics, creating a lasting impression of luxury. The S7 is built for versatility, combining robust design elements with practical functionality.
Its muscular wheel arches also project strength and confidence, while the 20-inch wheels and 763mm all-terrain tires enable the GAC S7 to easily navigate a wide range of environments, from urban streets to deserts and rainforests. This flexibility ensures that the S7 is not just a luxury vehicle, but also a capable one, prepared for diverse driving experiences.
On top of that, one of the standout features of the S7 is its innovative lighting design, which establishes an emotional connection with its users. The front of the vehicle boasts the Skyline Intelligent Light Band, the longest in its class at 2618mm.
This cutting-edge lighting system incorporates 2248 LEDs, forming the largest pixelated intelligent lighting setup. With eight preset emotion light modes, the headlights can express a range of moods and attitudes, offering a unique and personalized driving experience.
At the rear, the Polar Light Intelligent Taillights draw inspiration from the ethereal beauty of the Arctic’s auroras. Their symmetrical design evokes the dynamic relationship between the aurora and its reflection, creating a visually stunning and captivating display.
What’s more, on the inside, the S7 enhances its sense of openness with 270° panoramic side and rear windows, flooding the cabin with natural light and emphasizing its spacious and airy interior. So will this be the next GAC product in Malaysia?
